Sy Huq

Sy Huq (born February 5th, 1992) is a Bangladeshi-American screenwriter, producer, and creative executive working across film and animation in the United States and Japan.

Huq served as a Regional Producer on The Journey, the animated feature produced by Toei Animation and Manga Productions and the first major multi-studio animated feature collaboration between Saudi Arabia and Japan.

He is the Lead Executive Producer at D’ART Shtajio, the first Black-owned major anime studio in Japan, and is the first Bangladeshi-American creative executive in anime history. Through D’ART Shtajio, Huq has worked across international animation and entertainment productions connecting the Japanese anime industry with creators, studios, and intellectual property from around the world.
