Plum Cake

Love is rarely a choice. Hate, almost always is.

A devout Christian mother in Pakistan is determined to find a bride for her only son, unaware that he is secretly in love with his best friend. As she pushes her traditional expectations, tensions build until the truth quietly surfaces. Set within a conservative household, the story explores the emotional fallout of a mother confronting her son’s hidden sexuality, and the quiet unraveling of the future she had imagined. It’s a poignant look at how love, identity, and tradition collide—leaving room for heartbreak, confrontation, and the possibility of acceptance.
